Eowyn, Faramir (Not Eowyn/Faramir, sorry)
Tell me what you think of these Faramir icons. It's okay to be harsh; I'm not particularly fond of most of them. Even though he's my favorite character, I can't ever seem to make decent Faramir icons. I'm starting to blame Peter Jackson, for not providing me with the shots I need. :-P

So here are the rest of the Eowyn icons I made from that same cap as the last batch, and then the ones I've tried of Faramir today.

I haven't picked up any new LotR icons in a while, but oooh, Faramir. I like them--not especially fond of #8, but it's just the way the text is placed that bothers me, really. The rest are lovely, though.

It's "hope" in... er... Sindarin, I think. And that's why they called Aragorn that for his Elvish name.

5, 6, and 8 are my faves out of this batch. :) Well, PJ is a bother, because he didn't give us enough F&E in ROTK, or enough Faramir, period. (And don't get me started on what happened to Eomer. :( ) At the same time I love these movies, but I think I see what you mean about the shots.

Medium shots are the best for making icons, because they give you the most to work with in terms of cropping and framing. Nearly all the decent shots of Faramir are close ups or extreme closeups, though. When I find a decent shot, I run with it... :-P It happens a lot in LOTR actually, but usually with a character I can find that one shot I need (like the one of Eowyn I made those ten icons from). I'm still looking for my Faramir shot.
